120 brave: Farhan Akhtar shoots in Spine Chilling Minus 10 ° C in Ladakh

Actor-Filmekar Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film “120 Bahadur” was shot in Ladakh at a spine chilling minus 10 ° C. “The team covered a distance of about 14,000 feet in Ladakh, and the temperature was often submerged at minus 5, even minus 10 degrees in a few days.” The source said: “The aim was to honor the story with honesty, and Farhan is actually in all – physical, mental, emotionally.”

Inspired by the life of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC), 120 Bahadur tells the story of an extraordinary act of courage during the Battle of Rezang LA in 1962, where 120 Indian soldiers stood on their ground against thousands, defending Ladakh with unknown grit. Farhan, who will be seen playing the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC), made a significant change for the film, including military style training and acting at high altitude.

“120 Bahadur” is directed by Raznesh ‘Regi’ Ghai and is produced by Ritesh Siddhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Moon (Trigger Happy Studio). The film pays tribute to the soldiers of Major Siton Singh Bhati, PVC and Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment. Against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-Sino War, the film takes inspiration from the mythological battle of the film Rejung La, where unique bravery and sacrifice acts made their place in history.

An Excel Entertainment Production, the film is scheduled to release on 21 November. Talking about Farhan, he started his direction with the upcoming age film Dil Chahta Hai, received significant praise for portraying realistic modern Indian youth, and won the National Award for Best Hindi Film.

He then directed the war film Laxman, action thriller Don and his sequel Don 2. He was last seen on screen as an actor in the 2021 film “Tofon”, a sports drama by Rekash Omprakash Mehra.

The main plot of the film is based on the Dev-Abhinit Bengali film Champ, which is based on Moti Nandi’s stories- Shiba and Shibar Fire Asha. The film also stars Mrinal Thakur, Paresh Rawal and Hussain Dalal.
