It’s hard to see 23 (Iravai Mudu) Completely as a film. Indi-sparitted Telugu venture based on real events written by Raj R, a part presented in a dock-drama style is a social comment. Armed with an artist consisting of 25 new people and some established names, Raj question if the justice system is equal to all. George Orwell’s statement Animal farm,
The basis of the film has been shaped by three events, which shaken undivided Andhra Pradesh in the 1990s. In 1991, the Tsunduru massacre saw violence of cruel caste against Dalits. In 1993, 23 passengers lost their lives after two Dalit men after a bus in Chilkaluripat. In 1997, a car bomb blast in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, allegedly killed 26 and injured several others.
The film has not wasted any time to attain the cross of the story that investigates the traces of violence underbels, its victims and his criminals. The film begins with a Dalit massacre in Tsunduru and how caste, money and power decides the fate of criminals.
Raj takes creative freedom to bring the story to life through a love story. Sagar (Teja) and Sushila (Tanmai) are a young couple nourishing a dream – to start an idli center, to avail a loan of 10,000, earn a stable income and plan a life together. She earns a small amount as a daily bet, which closes a supervisor. He wants a strict one loan, only the door is shown by a corrupt officer. His friend Das (Pavan Ramesh) does not make any bone about being used by the police as a false witness and pockets of small amounts. Disappointment inspired Sagar and Das to take a wrong step, which spirals in a life -changing event.
It is easy for the ocean and slave to gauge what is in the store. Sequence of sequence of sequence and longing, characterized by Sagar and Sushila on both sides of the jail Sapt Sagardache AloeBut similarities stop there.
Many characters pop up as the story proceeds – a philanthropist lawyer who believes in Article 22 and every accused has the right to protect his case, a psychologist (Jhansi) and a jailer who is a bats for reforms.
23: Iravai Mudu (Telugu)
Director: Raj R
Mold: Teja, Tanmai and Pawan Ramesh
Run-time: 135 minutes
Story: Young couple’s dreams are shattered when a man involves a crime that changes their world, and of their victims, reverse. Can they expect mercy?
The first hour is dedicated to the story and its major characters, and the second hour examines several approaches. In a stated scene, a prisoner who is going to be released with the jailer is not ready for the outside world. A day later, the jailer, who learns that the free man has so far committed another fierce crime, feels equally guilty. 23 Such is about small moments, as it is about the big picture involving three major events of crime.
A sub-glory has been highlighted that the prisoners were re-accuseded for cleaning the toilets-the caste system used to decide the work assigned to the prisoners in the jail. The film is on how the libraries in the jail can be leveraged to bring a change.
Raj who directed Mallesham (Telugu), 8 pm metro (Hindi) and produced Pak: River of Blood (Malayalam). This film also takes an Indie approach. He moves a step forward and sometimes changes between imagination and non-sculpture, retreats from mainstream obstacles, tries to discuss the scope for discussions and reforms for the psychology of prisoners.
While the three events that shape the story are not directly connected, the echoes are felt deep inside. In one case, although criminals are sentenced to life imprisonment, they find a way through the High Court’s appeal. In the second, a mastermind of a crime with political support comes out of the prison, his ‘good conduct’ was quoted as a reason. What happens to those who have no choice but to fight a long battle?
While the film is sympathetic to the accused with a lower caste, it does not hesitate to introspect its characters. Even if a cruel event was a mistake, it does not absent one of the disastrous consequences because it justifies a function of violence. Beyond the immediate crime of shattering life, a character is designed to think of long-term effects. The families of the-Pedaus are angry and resentment among the younger generation. There are no easy answers.
A few weeks ago, director Ram Jagdish court Presented an attractive story of a boy from a lower caste, who is incorrectly accused of crime. The film took a mainstream approach with an underdog lawyer, which stepped into needy. 23 Is a more complex film. Along with the accused, his lawyers face a long, alone fight.

Writing is the backbone of the film and the support of lending is a big cast. In his first film, Tanmai performs a moving performance as a teenager who gives rise to turbulent time. Teja offers an honest and measured performance, although sometimes it falls under the weight of a complex character. Pawan Ramesh plays the role of a nine-nine-nine-nine friend Das with his experience of working in independent films. The actor casts as a lawyer and his wife is effective in his parts. Nevertheless, Jhansi offers a striking performance, especially in parts where she is interacting with jailer and prisoners. He is the mature, worldly-wise aura required for the part of a psychologist. Mark Robin’s Vineet score which complements the story is entitled to a mention.
23 There is not an easy film to watch; It is a brave film that does not go away from addressing difficult issues. It is known that some of its approaches will have excessive debate and yet, it is not commendably back.
