70000tons to rock the high sea of metal again

Bengaluru can be the only city in India, a festival dedicated to international heavy metal (Bangalore open air, bin call), but sometimes, due to viewing somewhere else, especially when it is an experienced and migration music ceremony, which is rolled into one like a 7000000 ton.

The cruise festival held in early 2025, sailing for Ocho Rios from Miami to Jamaica and Back, now announced its 14th visit. From 29 January to 2 February 2026, the festival will run from Miami to Nasau in Bahamas.

Now with the ticket being live, the initial lineup for the upcoming version includes experienced metal bands such as dark tranquette, aluvati, kamelot, skeleton residue and gamma bomb, as well as acts such as Harkiri for the sky.

In the 2025 version, the draw for 70000 tonnes of metal was clear to anyone in that side of the world – Miami was a pleasant (and ever warm) 25 ° C when Europe and even other parts of the United States were cold at the end of January. European and American majority are one of the 81 nationalities that are riding on sea independence, the ships that were placed 3,006 guests.

On high sea

On a luxury cruise, whose gross tonne load is actually more than 155,000 tonnes, the festival name is reference to the huge lineup of the 61 band. Everything is comfortable and until you can afford it, reach. While 70000 tons can claim to be the world’s largest heavy metal cruise due to the number of metal bands and the number of attendees, there are many cruises that bring heavy metals to fans around the world.

In the United States, full metal cruise in the Baltic Sea of Europe, headbangars boat that goes from Miami to Mexico, is Rock’s demons in North America and debut in October 2026, Australia’s first metal cruise, Helbound, which has already been sold.

It is clear to see how the premium aspects of concerts are now making their way in heavy music experiences, perhaps because the metalheads had this stereotype of being unfolded – with good beer and food, they would have a solid lineup of the band and they will be happy campers.

The 70000 tonne founder, Andy Pillar, says the first challenge faced the challenge, in fact, finding a cruise line that was ready to host metalheads. “For many people, there is a stigma associated with heavy metal (‘crazy people with’ black leather jackets and tattoos’). When you meet metal fans, you realize that they are some of the best people around.”

Is he worried that more metal cruises will set the sail, following the success of its festival? “I always say that the competition is good for business. We are still the greatest by a good difference. We are still the leading lights,” says Andy.

Whatever they are doing for ticket buyers is a “family atmosphere” to develop and stay unique, they say, “There are no backstages or VIP areas. I wanted to adapt to this fan and artist, with a fan of one to 10. 10.”

The 70000tons metal shows us how unique a festival can be for fans of hard rock and heavy metal (and all other sub -regions). In previous versions, with tickets ranging from $ 966 to $ 6,000, there are only 3,000 passes on sales with access to all days of the festival in four stages, housing (shared or private) and, of course, unlimited food in select restaurants and cafes, unlimited food. Other ad-ons include beverages package and wifi, later a serious idea as there is a slight phone network in the sea.

Travel 13

Four stages closed at 10 am as part of 70000 tonnes of metal 2025 and left till 6 am, besides the early day and off-show Day, when the proceedings started around 5 pm and ran away late. Taking up and down the deck levels (or taking several lifts) can be tired like any other festival, but can be rewarded because each band craft crafts two different sets, some that move through a specific album, while another spreads their entire discography.

The top sets of the festival consisted of Brazilian metal legends Sepultura, who were on their farewell at the sea. Polyings through classics like classics like ‘Roots Blood Roots’, ‘Refuse/Resist’ and ‘Territory’ as well as new ingredients like ‘A&A and A to A End’, you can tell that Septura was enjoying themselves on the last set of the Royal Theater Indore stage and also on the final sets on the last sets on the Royal Theater Indore stage and at the same time. Along with strong winds.

Polish Death Metal Band also lifted it up even when he came on the set on the studio B ice rink and pool deck. Tireless refuses and crushed rhythms, they were the owners of each stage they had taken. American Death metal favorite knee, who lasted the top billing and was late for the lineup, fasted in a sunshine on the pool deck stage in the afternoon.

The festival somewhat focused a specific focus on electrical metal and folk metal; Symphony X was an extraordinary and fun -loving love (even the stage banquet turned into boating for Jamaica when the regure’s slight breakdown). The stratoveryus was heavyweight who did not disappoint, nor Emperor, Durkschiner, Hammfall and Kalamah.

Among the top draws of the festival, seas doom metal band candlemas and troubles, German thrash metal party-starrs tankers and trollfasts of Norway as well as new, growing heavy metal acts like archer.

Trolfest recalled his experience of transforming the deck of the ship into a circus during its colorful, energetic sets, full of costumes and folk metals. He said, “We woke up in a sauna – Oh wait, it was just Jamaica. This day was about the beach life, suspected sunburn, and a unhealthy amount of Pina Koladas. We are not the early birds, we are a flame!

For your share, remove Archer, he said he had a complete explosion, “Walking with fans and watching old friends and of course, playing two unforgettable shows on pool decks and royal theaters.” The band said, “There was a bucket list item to make sure to play pool deck stage. Hopefully we will meet it again!”

Curns on all festivals are important, so another Act to attract full houses was performing with members of Finland’s death/doom metal band the Sun, Ballet Finland Dance Troop members. The additional dimension brought an innovative touch to the festival. Members of the congregation said, “It was not an easy dance on a moving and dominated ship.”

On the other hand, the entire non-serious end video game of the spectrum was the choice of music-informed metal bands such as Power Glov and Super Monster Party, with a lot of cosplayers mossing, along with the apathy of the 90s.

Powerglove said, “What is an unforgettable epic experience with all of you on the high sea! Your energy was crazy, and we could not ask for a better crowd. It is good to see so many familiar faces and make new friends on the way. Many nationalities of metalheads on a boat are all!”
