New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan has received his first National Award after 33 years in the industry for his performance in Jawan. Pathan is sharing a win with actor Vikrant Massey, who was awarded the Best Actor for Vidya Vinod Chopra’s 12th failure.
Shah Rukh Khan has earlier received Padma Shri by the Government of India, as well as Ordre Des Arts at Des Latress and Legion of Honor.
In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan made a big comeback on the screen with Pathan, Jawan and Dunki of three hit films. Films worth more than Rs 1,300 crore gathered in India and crossed Rs 2,500 crore globally.
Released in September 2023, the jawan was directed by Atley. Shah Rukh Khan has played two roles – Azad, a jailer who secretly serves as a vigilance, and Vikram Rathor, his old version.
Rani Mukherjee has been named Best Actress at the 71st National Film Awards for Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. On the other hand, Kathl has won the best film in Hindi.

The winners of the 71st National Awards were announced by the Jury today, the Union’s Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and the Minister of State Dr. l. The final report for Murugan was done after submitting, which is 4 pm today, 4 pm.
