The winners of the 71st National Film Awards were officially declared at the National Media Center in New Delhi on Friday. The awards celebrated excellence in Indian cinema, recognizing certified films by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) from 1 January to 31 December, 2023. As one of the most anticipated events in the Indian film industry, the ceremony honored a wide range of talents in languages and styles.
While marking an important milestone in his career, both Shah Rukh Khan and Wikrant Massey received their first National Film Award for their performance in Jawan. Recognition not only adds to the significant praise that the film has worked, but has also highlighted a significant moment in the acting journey of both stars.
