Mumbai: Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has shared his intensive workout routine, proving that age has not reduced its commitment to discipline and fitness.
In the video, the director of ‘Krrish’ was seen easily walking through boxing drills, leg workouts, weight lifting and exercising using balls and fighting ropes.
From leg squat with heavy weight on the shoulders, the filmmaker performed every exercise with excessive patience and passion in the gym with his trainer.
While sharing his video with the gym on his Instagram handle on Monday, Rakesh wrote, “It is not about getting healthy-it is about feeling the best every day.”
Reacting to his post, actor Anupam Kher wrote in the comment section, “Har Har Mahadev!”
Sunil Shetty expressed his praise for the post by sending ‘Dil’ emoji. Vicky Kaushal’s father and action director Sham Kaushal commented, “Kaya Baat. So inspiration. Rakeshji.”
Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan earlier announced that his son Hrithik Roshan is ready to direct the upcoming installment of ‘Krrish’ named ‘Krrish 4’.
Sharing a picture with Hritik, which he called ‘Duggu’, Rakesh Roshan on Instagram wrote, “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years, you are being launched as two filmmakers Aditya Chopra.
Yash Raj Films (YRF) along with Rakesh Roshan has joined the construction of Krrish 4.
Rakesh Roshan expressed his happiness over Aditya Chopra as a creator, saying, “It brings me great pleasure to see a person like AD as the creator of Krrish 4. This was the one who assured Hrithik to sit on the director’s chair,” in a press note.
He said, “Hrithik and Adi are coming together as a producer-director pair, there is a rare and delicious creative combination behind them! I am sure they will turn Krrish 4 into a dramatic experience that has never been created in India.”
The project is ready to start filming early next year, and more details may be revealed.
