“Everything is the answer to practice,” he says, when the process of unlisling is talked about.

Srinath says, “This is not a small achievement because you have a habit of spreading your fingers widely on the equipment. While most musicians used to sleep with the cork between their fingers to get it, my father will just play until he is right,”

The first flute in Karnataka and Hindustani music was between Hariharan and Devprasad.

making music

He directed many dance plays such as Kalidasa’s poems, Jaydev’s Ashtapati, Lord Vishnu’s Dasavatar, and Ashtalasami, which were broadcast on Doordarshan during his career.

Hariharan received two fellowships from the Government of India. The first was a comparative study of the technology of flute fingers in Karnataka and Hindustani music, and the second, was at 72 Malkarta Ragas.

Infallible passion

Wherever Hariharan goes, he takes his flute. Srinath says, “In the last 40 years, there is hardly any day when I do not practice my music to my father,” says Srinath. “Even a day after a surgical process, my father rang the flute from his hospital bed, and the nurses opened the door of their room so that the raga could also calm the patients nearby.”

When he was in the 70s, Hariharan defeated cancer and credits his recovery of positive, healthy life, meditation and the living power of magazines.

In three decades, Hariharan is busy and his latest project is the first album. Topic Karnataka music gemsThe album is a will of Hariharan’s amazing enthusiasm for life and an unmarried passion for his music.

He said, “I started practicing yoga at the age of nine. I was a sick child and followed my elder brother SM Iyer because he practiced yoga,” he said, he found that he found that it helped his breath control while playing the flute.

Gemstone

Although it can be argued that launching an album is ambitious at this age, Hariharan says that there is a reason behind the move. Ratna There is a collection of my favorite songs presented to my family, friends and well -wishers to enjoy without a barrier of time. The selection can be generous, but if you are satisfied inside, the audience will enjoy your work. While Bollywood is for holiday and bliss, in pieces Gemstone Bring internal satisfaction. ,

Srinath says, “Concerts suit the audience’s specifications – traditional, devotion, excited and thus. Albums are favorite from a wide range of their favorite styles, most of which are not played simultaneously in a concert.”

According to Srinath, the recording process surprised everyone. “Unlike a live performance, recording in a studio can be disabled as every sound is caught from one side from one side by sharp intake. Also, once a record is recorded, this error is captured for the posterity.”

And yet, Hariharan recorded all 14 pieces in five hours in a stretch without the same retake. “I took some break between songs to give some water and fruits. All those breathing techniques made me stand well with my yoga routine. Since I was there, I felt that I could complete my share for the album,” Hariharan said with a laugh.

The other who are part of the albums include Mridangam Ustad Kulur Jayachandra Rao.

Technology and collab

Unlike many others, their age, or even those small, do not withdraw from technology. His parents are “quite YouTube-lover,” Srinath says. Hariharan and his wife Kamla, who are a Karnataka singer, earn social media platforms for talented youth that they can advise.

For example, the family uploaded its rendering Lalita Shastramam On YouTube. Bhakti Bhajan, which incorporates 183 verses with 75 raga and five taal, is a complex case because the raga replaces every other poem. Hariharan and Kamla were included in Srinath and his wife Shobha, who was also a Karnataka singer.

Hariharan stopped any merit about taking AI out of musicians and their ILK. “I welcome any tool that helps to preserve or share our music. A machine can fully calculate the rhythm cycles, but Karnataka music is a connection with the heart. As long as we cultivate artists who cultivate their lives in each note, our tradition technology with technology.”

“AI is brain while music is heart. Use it to improve your work, but don’t rely on it.”

Gemstone Hariharan is giving his views to an Indian blues album A Whirlpse to be out by Diwali and Post. “We met with an artist, when we were performing at an event for World Music Day. My father was surrounded by guitar work and felt that notes shared a similarity. He wanted to pursue it and is now working on this Karnataka-blouse project,” Srinath says.

Assuming that an average age in a Karnataka concert is 50-plus, Hariharan believes that cooperation reaches widespread audiences. “Do not compromise on composition, song or raga, but cooperate on medium or style. Keep the roots intact, but present it in different ways that more people will be related. For example, try Karnataka music on an unconventional tool, but do not compromise on its soul.”
