Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha, who was not seen at her wedding, spoke about his absence in an interview. Thank you for asking.” Sonakshi’s parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha attended the registry ceremony and reception party on Sunday night. However, Sonakshi’s twin brothers Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha were missing from the event. Several photos and videos from the wedding are going viral on social media, though the brothers are not seen in any of the family photos.
Confirming the twins’ absence, a source told Hindustan Times, “Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding, and were naturally very excited about the day. However, her brother did not make it to the wedding and reception. Photographers didn’t spot the two entering the venue until the very end. And everyone found it very odd.”
Before the wedding, Luv Sinha told ETimes, “I am currently out of Mumbai and I have no comment or involvement in the matter if it is related to the published news.” After an India Today report claimed that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will get married on June 23, Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding rumours were doing the rounds. The couple did not confirm the date. However, they did not hide themselves from the paparazzi either.
Meanwhile, a video of their registry ceremony is already viral. Priyank Sharma, who was present at the wedding, shared a video on his Instagram Stories. In the video, Sonakshi can be seen walking down the aisle while her close friend Saqib Saleem holds a flower chaadar. Sonakshi wore her mother’s vintage saree and jewellery for the registry ceremony. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal registered their marriage under the provisions of the Special Marriage Act. According to an IANS report, the civil ceremony took place at the bride’s new apartment, 81 Aureate, which is located near the Rang Sharda Auditorium in Bandra West, Mumbai.
