Actor-comedian Mindy Kaling says she quietly welcomed her third child in February. The writer of popular shows like The Mindy Project And never have I everKaling made the announcement on Monday, her 45th birthday. In a post on Instagram, Kaling revealed that earlier this year she gave birth to a baby girl, who she has named Anne. “In late February I gave birth to my daughter Anne. She is the best birthday gift I could have ever imagined. When things get tough, when I’m feeling down, my three kids are a reminder of the pure joy that is in my life.
“I’m so lucky that I live in a place where I can do all of this myself, on my own timeline. Thank you for all the birthday wishes!” She posted several photos with her children and showing off her baby bump.
Kaling has two other children: a six-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son. She has never revealed the identity of the father of her children.
