ADOR has responded to online threats against the Newseens group. As reported by SoompiA post was made online on Monday with a photo of the knife. What caused ADOR’s response?
According to the report, the knife was copied from an online marketplace. In the post, the man threatened to use the knife against Newseen members when they get out of their van.
ADOR issued a statement
On Tuesday, ADOR said in a statement, “Currently, we are preparing to enhance security measures in collaboration with the Japanese concert planning company. At the same time, the police in Korea are investigating and we are actively participating in the investigation. We are making every effort to ensure that artists can safely participate in scheduled activities.”
NEWZINS’ UPCOMING FAN MEETING
NEWGEN will hold its first Japanese fan meeting–Bunnies Camp 2024 at Tokyo Dome on June 26-27. NEWGENS officially announced their comeback and Japanese debut on March 26. On May 24, NEWGENS made their comeback with a four-track double single – How Sweet, Bubble Gum and instrumental versions of both songs.
NEWGEN made their Japanese debut on June 21 with another double single consisting of four tracks: the title track–Supernatural, Right Now, and instrumental versions of both songs. They are also preparing to release a new album in the second half of 2024, after which they plan to embark on their first world tour in 2025.
About Newseens
Newseen is a South Korean girl group formed by ADOR. The group consists of five members–Minzy, Hanni, Danielle, Herin, and Hyein. Newseen debuted on July 22, 2022 with the single Attention.
Two other singles–Hype Boy and Cookie–were released soon after. His debut extended play (EP), released in August 2022, included all the singles. In January 2023, he released his debut solo album, OMG, which received commercial success.
