Mumbai: Actor Zaheer Iqbal, who recently tied the knot with his girlfriend and Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha, has reportedly gifted her a BMW i7 electric sedan car worth over Rs 2 crore.
In a viral video, the newly-wed couple is seen arriving in a swanky BMW for their reception at Bastian restaurant on Linking Road in Mumbai, which is famous for its Asian-inspired modern cuisine.
In the clip, Sonakshi and Zaheer are seen sitting in the backseat of the car holding each other’s hands. According to media reports, Zaheer has gifted his wife a BMW i7 electric sedan worth more than Rs 2 crore.
The two had a civil marriage on June 23 at Sonakshi’s new apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West. Reportedly, the ‘Heeramandi’ actress bought the plush apartment on the 36th floor in September last year. The sea-facing apartment is spread across 4,210.87 sq ft and is reportedly worth Rs 11 crore.
Talking about work, Sonakshi has the horror comedy ‘Kakuda’ in the pipeline. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP Movies, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem in lead roles.
Sonakshi also has ‘Nikita Roy and the Book of Darkness’.
