Actor-producer Rana Daggubati, who has presented indie-spirited Telugu films in the past, will present a new film titled 35Starring Gautami, K Bhagyaraj, Nivetha Thomas, Priyadarshi, Vishwadev and child actors Arun Dev and Abhay. Directed by Nanda Kishore Imani, 35, with the tagline ‘Chinna Katha Kadhu‘ (This Is Not a Short Story) is the story of an 11-year-old who challenges the fundamentals of mathematics, and finds life lessons from the teachings of his school-dropout mother.
In a statement issued by the producers, it was said that the film has been produced by Rana Daggubati, Srujan Yarbolu and Siddharth Rallapalli of Suresh Productions, S Originals and Waltair Productions. 35 It features music composer Vivek Sagar, cinematographer Niketh Bommi and production designer Latha Naidu.

unveiled the poster of 35 In Hyderabad, Rana said he was instantly drawn to the film’s drama, which was woven with conflict, love and bond between a mother and her two estranged children. “One child avoids learning and considers mathematics an illogical subject, and the other child who is smart and obedient is torn apart by conflict in the family,” he said.

Nand Kishore directed an award-winning short film titled Savvadidescribes 35 as a story that explores family relationships and the complexities faced by children.
The film, which is releasing on August 15, will be distributed by Suresh Productions with Southbay being the marketing partner.
