Actor-turned-producers Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are celebrating the phenomenal success of their debut song Ve Haaniyan under their label Dreamiyata Music. Since its release, the song has garnered over 100 million views on YouTube, surpassing Miley Cyrus’ Grammy-winning track Flowers in 2023 and has become a viral sensation on Instagram with over 6.2 million reels.
Talking exclusively to us about his song, Dubey spoke about ruling the hearts of people and receiving widespread appreciation for his melodious tune. Dubey expressed gratitude for this tremendous success and called it a “divine blessing”. “It is a huge thing for us. We are very excited, it feels really great. We never had any strategy. There is some divine blessing due to which such things are happening. We are grateful for whatever is happening,” Dubey said.
He acknowledges the important role social media has played in amplifying the song’s reach and impact. “Content consumption happened primarily on Instagram, that’s why we are seeing such a huge increase in the number of views and people making reels on the song,” Dube explains.
However, he stressed that the song, which features him and is sung by Avi Sra and Danny, was not a professional effort but a very personal one. “With our melody sense, we felt it was a great song and hence, we released it on our 10th anniversary. This song is very close to our hearts,” Mehta, 41, told us. Mehta and Dubey started dating in 2009 and tied the knot in December 2013.

Further sharing his thoughts Dubey says, “We didn’t get any investors or collaborate with anyone. We felt this song is about partnership and it totally resonates with what Sargun and I stand for when it comes to our relationship. So, we wanted to do it for ourselves.”
Looking ahead, Dube reveals his plans to explore different musical genres and collaborate with international artistes for Ve Haniya’s upcoming productions. “Some very interesting things are happening. In the upcoming songs, we will be collaborating with some amazing artistes. We are trying to touch different genres and are also considering some international collaborations,” he concludes.
