Actress Lindsay Lohan says when she arrived on the sets of ‘Freaky Friday 2’, all her childhood memories of working in various Disney films came back to life.
The 37-year-old actress will star as Anna Coleman alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, who is also returning as Tess Coleman in the upcoming sequel to the 2003 film “Freaky Friday.”
Lohan said she felt “like a little kid” after beginning filming the new movie with Curtis last week.

“I think that day was really special for me when I went to see Disney. And coming back to see Disney, because to me it’s not just ‘Freaky Friday.’
“That’s ‘The Parent Trap,’ that’s ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen,’ that’s ‘Herbie.’ For me, it’s a lot of those moments. So when I got there, I felt like a little kid again,” the actor told the chat show “Nightline.”
Lohan said she and Curtis, who played Anna’s mother in the “Freaky Friday” franchise, have kept in touch over the years.
“You know what they say when you have a best friend or someone you’re very close with? If you don’t see them for years and years, but when you see them again, it’s like you were never apart. I’m so grateful for every second of it. Every second… I’ll get emotional. It’s an amazing experience,” he said.
The original “Freaky Friday” was directed by Mark Waters. It follows a mother-daughter duo, Tess and Anna Coleman, who wake up the next morning to find themselves in each other’s bodies after visiting a mysterious Chinese restaurant.
This sequel is being directed by Nisha Ganatra.
