Canadian pop star Justin Bieber arrived in Mumbai on Thursday to perform at the lavish wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Anant and Radhika are set to tie the knot on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
The wedding celebrations began with a mass wedding for over 50 underprivileged couples. The event was held at Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai.
This was followed by traditional Mameru and Mosalu ceremonies at Antilia, the beautifully decorated Ambani residence in Mumbai.

Mosalu is a special ceremony in Gujarati culture that takes place a few days before the wedding. During this ceremony, Nita Ambani’s family, including her mother Purnima Dalal and her sister Mamta Dalal, came to give gifts and best wishes to the couple. This tradition shows the love and support of the groom’s mother’s family. In contrast, the Mameru ceremony is where the bride’s maternal uncle (mother) comes to visit her with sweets and gifts.
The Ambani family hosted two grand pre-wedding ceremonies before the big day.
