Actress Mrunal Thakur, who did a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD, took to Instagram on Sunday to praise the film and the performances in it. She lauded director Nag Ashwin’s vision for the sci-fi film and also praised the performances of the film’s lead actors Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. In a detailed note, she wrote, “What a film!!! The visuals in #Kalki2898AD are absolutely stunning. The entire team has done a fabulous job on this film!! From the cast to the sets, music to VFX, costumes everything is so well done! Hats off to you @nag_ashwin garu for your vision and bringing this masterpiece to life.”
He then praised the actors’ performances. “@amitabhbachchan sir you are truly the Shahenshah!!! Your performance as Ashwathama is amazing, I am still in awe of the way you controlled each scene!!! @deepikapadukone you have brought Sumati alive with such grace and I love your presence on screen, you have done such a fabulous job. @actorprabhas garu where to begin, you have truly knocked it out of the park! I love every aspect of your role and the finesse with which you played Bhairav. My favourite part is your dynamic and your bond with Bujji @keerthysureshofficial it’s so adorable. I loved it a lot @ikamalhaasan sir you are simply incredible and I am eagerly waiting for part 2.”
