Roger Federer is in his ‘Swifty era’; he took a selfie with Taylor Swift backstage during her Eras Tour concert in Zurich.

Roger Federer is officially in his Swifty era! The retired tennis legend not only attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Zurich, Switzerland, but also took a selfie with her backstage. Taylor and Roger were smiling in the selfie, while Roger succinctly wrote in the caption, “In my Swifty era (butterfly, red heart, snake and clock emoticons).” It appears the selfie was taken in the post-show, backstage era, as Federer was seen wearing a VIP pass around his neck and Swift wore a sparkly blue bodysuit to the show.

Roger attended the concert with his wife Mirka and their four children; twin girls Myla and Charlene, and twin boys Leo and Lenny. The tennis pro’s fan page also shared some photos from the concert. In one, Roger was seen wearing friendship bracelets bearing the names of some of the singer’s songs, including Anti-Hero and Champagne Problems. He also shared a photo with Roman Josi. A fan also took a photo of Roger accepting friendship bracelets from fans at the concert.

Did you know that Roger has been planning to go to Taylor Swift’s concert and meet her for the past few years? In an interview People After his retirement in 2022, Roger said, “We went to a lot of concerts last year. I didn’t sing, I just played the shaker a little bit. But we also saw [Bruce] Springsteen twice, and Elton John. Taylor Swift is coming to Switzerland this summer, so of course we’ll be going there, and ACDC too.”
