Actress Hina Khan is not giving up, as she believes in seeing the silver lining in the clouds, according to her recent post on social media. Hina shared a clip of herself, in which she first shows off her long hair and then her pixie haircut, which she had opted for before she lost her hair due to chemotherapy.
She wrote in the caption, “On a lighter note, this change best suits my situation, why did you cut your hair bhai… sorry yaar breakdown ho gaya hai, ab menu bhai… let’s smile more, please… I am not giving up… my faith in Allah (SWT) is unwavering.”
Hina, who announced the news of her cancer diagnosis on June 28, is currently undergoing chemotherapy for stage three breast cancer.
On July 4, he shared a video of himself getting a haircut, which was a step in his healing journey.
In a note on Instagram, the actress shared: “I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am okay. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease.”
“My treatment has begun and I am ready to do everything possible to come out of this even stronger.”
The actress asked for privacy during this time.
“I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined and positive. With the grace of the Almighty, we are confident that I will overcome this challenge and make a full recovery. Please send your prayers, blessings and love. Love, Hina,” the note concluded.
