Bad NewsDirected by Anand Tiwari, the film released in theatres on Friday. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Tripati Dimri, Amy Virk and Neha Dhupia, the film continued to do well at the box office even after its opening. Bad News As per reports, it grossed approximately Rs 11 crore in India on the second day. SaconilcThe report said that Bad News The total collection was ₹ 29.55 crore. Apart from the film’s impressive cast, it also features cameos by actresses Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma.
After the release of the film, Katrina Kaif shared her review of the film and she wrote in an Instagram story, “And it’s here… It was so much fun, bromance gets a whole new meaning with the Punjabi boys, effortless timing and chemistry… Vicky Kaushal you always amaze me with your spontaneity and the joy you bring on screen. Amy Virk, loved you in every scene. Tripti Dimri you are just (star eye emoji) Congratulations Amritpal Singh Bindra, Anand Tiwari, Karan Johar.”

Bad News The film received largely mixed reviews. In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 2 out of 5 stars and wrote, “Bad Newz, a sequel to Dharma Productions’ much funnier (if not more bizarre) Good Newz (2019), is about some in-vitro fertilisation gone wrong, and it relies on Vicky Kaushal to pull it out of the fire. The lead actor does a fine job as an outspoken and impulsive West Delhi boy, but a little restraint would have served him better.”
Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Tiwari. The film released in theatres on 19 July.
