Divya Khosla, who is married to T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar, remembered actor-producer Krishan Kumar’s daughter Tisha Kumar with a heartwarming post. Divya shared a happy picture from her vacation with Tisha and her mother Tanya Singh. Divya also shared a candid reel of Tisha, in which she can be seen smiling her heart out. Sharing the pictures, Divya wrote, “Tisha you will always be in our hearts. Gone too soon @tanyasingghofficial May God give you the strength to overcome this most painful loss.” It is known to all that Tisha Kumar, 20, passed away on July 18 after a long battle with cancer. Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Fardeen Khan, Jackie Shroff, Farhan Akhtar and producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, producer Anil Thadani, Javed Jaffrey, Riteish Deshmukh and other Bollywood stars paid their last respects to Krishna Kumar on Monday. They also stood with the grieving Krishna Kumar.
Earlier, after Tisha’s death, the family released a statement and requested for privacy. “Tisha Kumar, daughter of Krishna Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with illness,” a T-Series spokesperson said in a statement. “This is a difficult time for the family and we humbly request that the family’s privacy be respected,” an excerpt from the statement read. Tisha Kumar was last seen at the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal in Mumbai last year.
A source close to Tisha’s family told The Indian Express that she was undergoing treatment for cancer and died in a hospital in Germany. “Tisha was just 21. She was diagnosed with cancer and the family decided to take her to Germany for treatment. She passed away on Thursday. It is a very sad time for the family,” the source said.
Tisha’s father Krishan Kumar is a former actor. He has acted in films like Aaja Meri Jaan, Kasam Teri Kasam, Shabnam, Bewafa Sanam. He is the producer of many other hit films like Ready, Lucky: No Time for Love, Airlift, Satyameva Jayate, Tanhaji, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Thappad. Tisha Kumar’s mother Tanya Singh is the daughter of composer Ajit Singh and sister of actress Natasha Singh.
