What did John say about Angelina?
“She’s been exposed to propaganda. She’s been influenced by anti-Semites. Angie has ties to the UN and she loves speaking out for refugees. But these people are not refugees… Angie, I think she hasn’t gotten this information because people in Hollywood don’t share things like this. They’re so far away. They have no idea what’s going on. It’s a bubble.”
‘He is unaware of what the real stakes are’
He added, “I love my daughter. I don’t want to fight my daughter. But the truth is I think she’s been influenced from the beginning by the United Nations, which has been very bad on human rights. They call it human rights, but it’s just an anti-Israel attack. She’s unaware of what the real stakes are and what the real story is because she’s in touch with the UN. Maybe we shouldn’t be talking about all this politics.”
Angelina Jolie has been serving UNHCR, the United Nations refugee agency, for over two decades. She served as a Goodwill Ambassador from 2001 to 2012 and then as a Special Envoy from 2012 to 2022. The Oscar-winning actress shared her support for the Palestinians on her Instagram in October last year. She wrote in the caption, “Stop the genocide. Humanity above all.”
John will next be seen in Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis. Angelina, on the other hand, will be seen in Pablo LarraÃn’s Maria Callas biopic, which will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival next month.
