Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are writing each other love letters in a bid to heal the rift in their marriage, despite both being ready to “throw in the towel”, according to a report. daily Mail Report.
Despite spending summer holidays apart and selling their home, the couple has made a concerted effort to maintain their relationship, particularly through handwritten letters.
“Jen and Ben agreed it was best to spend some time apart so they could really figure out what they wanted,” a source told the Daily Mail.
“They were ready to give up. The divorce papers were done and ready to be filed. But they wanted to give it one last chance before walking away from the relationship and went back to the beginning by writing letters to each other. That’s what made them fall in love in the first place.”

J.Lo and Ben get a second chance at romance, maybe even a third
The Hollywood couple exchanged many love letters during their earlier relationship, and Ben even kept them during his marriage to Jennifer Garner. When they rekindled their romance, he eventually compiled them into a book for JLo, a gesture she reflects on in her documentary. “This book is the book that Ben gave me for our first Christmas… It has every letter and every piece of mail that we wrote to each other from 20 years ago to today,” she said.
This time, however, the source added, “J.Lo will definitely not show these letters to anyone and they will stay between her and Ben only. If they decide they want to stay together, she will keep their love life to herself. Right now, it looks promising.”

Another insider added that despite the “tense” relationship between JLo and Ben, “the two also have a deep love for each other. They just have to figure out what brought them back together and there’s definitely a chance that when that happens the three of them will find each other attractive, they’re not going to give up.”
“They are taking it day by day and they don’t want to get divorced,” the source said.
