Television actress Arti Singh, who got married earlier this year, has finally opened up about the fight that happened between her brother Krushna Abhishek and chi chi mama Govinda. The Hero No. 1 star attended the actress’ wedding with his son this year. Speaking to Paras Chhabra on his podcast, the actress revealed that she was never involved in their fight. She said, “I was most happy that my mama came. He came for a short time, but he came. His coming was a big deal for me. Because after a long time we all met. As soon as I saw him, I became very happy. I never had any fight with him. You know me. I love him a lot. And I always used to tell everyone that… I mean, he has taken a lot of care of me. And he has loved me a lot. He has given me a lot of love. So, I was never involved in it. Whatever happened, I was never a part of it. But I am happy that he came for the wedding.”
In an old interview with The Indian Express, Arti Singh revealed that her maternal uncle Govinda had stopped all communication with her after her fight with Krushna. “There is a saying that the dust also gets ground along with the wheat. Whatever issue happened between them, I also had to bear the brunt of it. Chi Chi mama and his family don’t talk to me anymore,” the publication quoted Arti Singh as saying.
Talking about the feud, Govinda’s wife Sunita had said in an interview to The Times of India: “We have severed all ties with Krushna and Kashmira, and I swear I won’t initiate a reconciliation this time. I was foolish to do so two years ago. Govinda was right about them. It was my mistake that I thought we should give them another chance.”
