Doctor Who The universe is set to expand with a spinoff. The war between land and sea, The five-part series will be led by Russell Tovey and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Jemma Redgrave (as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart) and Alexander Devrient (Colonel Ibrahim) will return to the franchise. The series begins when a fearsome and ancient species emerges from the ocean, dramatically revealing itself to humanity, triggering an international crisis. With entire populations at risk, UNIT springs into action to wage war on land and sea, wrote Diversity.
Russell T Davies is the producer War between land and sea. He was its executive producer and showrunner. Doctor Who. Russell co-wrote the novel with Pete McTighe.

The spinoff series will be directed by Dylan Holmes-Williams. It is set to air exclusively on Disney+ and BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
