Ranbir Kapoor loves talking about his adorable daughter Rhea. Ranbir, who is married to actress Alia Bhatt, recently called the birth of his daughter the biggest achievement of his life. In a conversation with Nikhil Kamath on his podcast wtfRanbir recalled the moment when he first saw his baby girl, brimming with joy. He said, “You know, till the time Alia was pregnant, you were imagining it. You were trying to figure out what the feeling is like. She could feel it because the baby was inside her. But when she was born and I… the first thing when the doctor gave me raaha, you can’t put it into words. If I had to describe it, it’s like someone has taken your heart out and put it in your hands. It happens instantly. It’s the love of your life. It’s great. I have never felt like this, will never feel like this about anything or anyone in my life.”
Talking about Rhea’s relationship with her parents, Ranbir Kapoor said, “I think Rhea considers Alia as a part of herself. She doesn’t consider Alia as another person. They are one and the same. But with me, she looks for fun, frolic, laughter and flirting. We both keep flirting all the time, me and my daughter.”
Ranbir Kapoor also talked about how he and Alia Bhatt adjust to each other in their marriage. He said, “Especially when you are in a marriage, you have to give up your individuality. She is also giving up her individuality. We are adjusting to each other to make it liveable for each other. Any marriage does that. You have to give up, you have to adjust, you have to sacrifice aspects of it. It is impossible for two people to like each other the way they are.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt welcomed their daughter Rhea in November 2022. Ranbir and Alia have shared screen space in several films Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva. They will be seen together next time love war.
