New Delhi: Netflix has announced the fantasy action series ‘Rakt Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom’ from renowned filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. On Saturday, the streaming platform officially announced the project with an interesting first poster. The upcoming series ‘Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom’ will be directed by Rahi Anil Barve, known for his work in ‘Tumbbad’.

The caption read, ‘We have huge news that will make your blood boil! We are very excited to announce our first action-fantasy series.’ The announcement poster featured a blood-soaked crown, hinting at a dramatic and intense story, and setting the stage for an epic fantasy adventure.
About ‘Rakt Universe – The Bloody Kingdom’
Raj and DK are working on another OTT project ‘Rakt Brahmand – The Bloody Kingdom’. The mega series is directed by Rahi Anil Barve and long-time collaborator Sita R Menon under their production company D2R Films. The series promises a gripping and edgy story set in a fictional kingdom, with bloody action and spectacular visuals.
Talking about their new project, filmmaker duo Raj and DK said, ‘It is an unchartered territory which makes it more exciting for them.
“Our goal was to develop a fantasy world that is original and reminiscent of the fantasy stories we heard in our childhood. We are thrilled to be working with the very talented Raahi and our versatile partner Sita to bring this unique vision to life.”
As per a report by ANI, Monika Shergill, Vice-President Content Netflix India, said, ‘Rakt Universe – The Bloody Kingdom’ will be their first mega action-fantasy series “and it is set to redefine the genre by combining large-scale action with a thrilling story.”
