Mumbai: Actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is often known for her amazing social media presence, surprised fans by celebrating Friendship Day with her furry pet Shyloh. The ‘Stree 2’ actress shared several adorable pictures on her Instagram account on Sunday, in which she is seen spending happy moments with her four-legged friend.
In the post, Shraddha and Shylo are seen enjoying each other’s company and spreading happiness.
Along with the pictures, Shraddha asked a thought-provoking question in the caption, “Who says best friends have to be humans???” She also added Kishore Kumar’s classic song, ‘Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan’ to highlight the special bond she shares with Shylo.

Soon after the ‘Stree’ actress posted the pictures, fans poured in their reactions in the comments section. A fan wrote, “Aaj toh shaylohday hoga,” to which Shraddha replied, “Every day is shaylohday.” Another fan commented, “Doggy ki pakki dosti = Lifetime pakki sacchi masti,” and Shraddha agreed, adding, “Doggy ki dosti is the best friendship in the world.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shraddha is currently gearing up for the release of her much-awaited film ‘Stree 2’ opposite Rajkummar Rao. The film promises a return to the scary yet hilarious world where ‘Stree’ continues to scare men.
The makers recently launched the much-awaited trailer of the horror comedy. Shraddha delighted fans by sharing the trailer video on Instagram.
The trailer begins with Pankaj Tripathi’s character introducing the new threat ‘Sarkata’ to the people of Chanderi. The trailer also shows the love between Vicky and Shraddha.
Vicky goes ahead and transforms himself into the prince of Chanderi to save the women from the new threat that threatens to kidnap all the women of Sarkata village. Tamannaah Bhatia is also making a cameo in the film with a dance number.
Sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and composed by the dynamic duo Sachin-Jigar, ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ is choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.
In the song, Tamannaah sets the stage on fire with her dance moves. Wearing a beautiful green dress, she captivates the people of Chanderi.
‘Stree’ released in 2018 and was declared a hit. Its sequel will hit the theatres in August this year. A phrase from the film ‘oo stree kal aana’ has been used repeatedly in memes.
The music of the film also attracted a lot of attention with songs like ‘Mili Milegi’ and ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’. Amar Kaushik has directed both the parts.
‘Stree 2’ will release in theatres on August 15.
