Mumbai: Farah Khan lost her mother Menaka Irani in July and people from the entire industry reached out to her to mourn her demise. Farah was extremely close to her mother and it has been a few days since she left the world. After the demise of Menaka Irani, an old video of her with her daughter Farah is going viral in which she is seen talking about her mother’s death. In the video, you can see that Farah talks about putting up her mother’s picture on the sets of Om Shanti Om, to which Menaka Irani jokingly says that despite her being alive, her daughter put up her picture on the wall. Farah looks at her mother and later says that she is lucky for her and that is why she has put up her picture on the set. Farah jokingly says that she did not put up her picture on the sets of Tees Maar Khan and immediately her mother says, ‘Thank God’. Indeed, Farah and Sajid Khan were a beautiful happy person.

Farah Khan shares an emotional note for mother Menaka Irani days after her death
Farah Khan who was mourning the death of her mother, wrote an emotional note for her late mother and described her mother as the most unique person who preferred to stay away from the limelight. Along with the long note, Farah shared some memorable pictures with her mother, “My mother was a very unique person.. never wanted the limelight or any fuss around her.. despite the hardships she faced in her early life, she was a rare person who never held any bitterness or jealousy towards anyone. Everyone who met her loved her and understood where we got our sense of humour from. Well hardly.. she was far more witty and funnier than both Sajid and I”.
Farah thanked everyone for their condolences, “I don’t know if she is able to see the outpouring of genuine love and condolences that have come her way… not just from our friends and of course family, but many of her co-workers and people who worked in our house have come and told us how my mom had helped them with loans or sent them money… never expecting anything in return. Thank you to everyone who has come to our house to be with us in our grief… to everyone who has sent messages and is still sending messages.”
Farah Khan spoke about returning to work. May her mother’s soul rest in peace.
