Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are headed for divorce, as rumors of their separation have been swirling for the past several months. A new report states that Lopez felt Affleck disrespected her and is very angry about the separation from Affleck. She is delaying the divorce to save herself from any further embarrassment.

Jennifer Lopex feels ‘humiliated’ and ‘ashamed’
According to a source, the On The Floor singer is upset and angry with Affleck over the split as he was the one who initiated the dating again. The actors were previously together from 2002 to 2004 when they met on the set of Gigli. “She’s angry. He has humiliated her. He was the one who initiated the dating again,” the source said. As per a Page Six report, the actors rekindled their love in July 2021 after Lopez’s divorce from ex-husband Alex Rodriguez in April 2021.
The source further explained why Lopez felt disrespected by Affleck. “He felt disrespected because he made a big deal out of the fact that she was the love of his life,” the source explained. “They’ve been married twice already in two years. That’s some kind of record, they’re not young kids,” the source added. For the couple’s first wedding, Lopez and Affleck eloped to Las Vegas in July 2022, followed by their second wedding at The Batman actor’s home in Riceboro, Georgia in August 2022.
“He’s a romantic,” the source said. Two of her documentaries, This Is Me…Now and the Amazon Prime Video documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which also featured Affleck, were inspired by their relationship.

Lopez is also upset by the children’s involvement
The Ain’t Your Mama singer is also disappointed that her kids are upset over her split with Affleck. Although the couple don’t have any children together, Affleck is a father to three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, namely Violet, 18, Finn, 17, and Samuel, 12. Lopez is a mother to twins Max and Emme, 16, with her previous husband Marc Anthony.
“There are five kids involved,” the source said. “She knew they were going to be blending families. She just hasn’t fully accepted that it’s over.” Lopez is particularly close with Affleck’s eldest daughter, Violet.
