New Delhi: Just a few hours ago, the whole country was celebrating Vinesh Phogat’s victory on reaching the wrestling finals at the Olympics. The champion proved her worth by winning the semi-finals, but just a few minutes ago the news came that Vinesh Phogat has been disqualified from the Olympics 2024 due to being a few grams overweight. This news has saddened every Indian and they are protesting against it and calling it an unfair decision.
Swara Bhaskar, Taapsee Pannu, Huma Qureshi and many other Bollywood celebs have condemned the disqualification of Vinesh Phogat and expressed their shock. Taapsee took to her Instagram to call the news heartbreaking. “It’s heartbreaking, but honestly, this woman has made her mark far beyond just gold.”
