New Delhi: Finally, the trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Emergency’ has been released. The actress-turned-politician has shared an interesting trailer of this political drama on her social media handle.
Directed entirely by Kangana Ranaut, ‘Emergency’ stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and late Satish Kaushik in lead roles.
Set in 1975 when the Emergency was imposed in the country, the film stars Ranaut as former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
The trailer shows the relationship of a young Indira Gandhi with her father, the late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, when she entered politics. It then shows how she dealt with conflicts, political upheavals and other issues in her long career.
The film also gives a glimpse of various issues including the Emergency period, Shimla Agreement, rise of Khalistan movement and JP movement.

On Thursday, Kangana shared the latest information about the film with her fans. The poster also features Kangana Ranaut along with Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair and Milind Soman. Kangana Ranaut is playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
