Describing the hike as a tough one, BTS’ Jin said it “destroyed my confidence”. He added that he “can’t do everything anymore”.
BTS’s eldest member Jin climbed Mount Hallasan in Jeju Island, South Korea, in the first episode of the show Run Jin. On its YouTube channel, Bangtan TV shared a video of Jin climbing the mountain with his crew members. This was the first shoot for Jin after being discharged from the army. Jin called himself wrong, arrogant
During the episode, Jin met fans while climbing to the top of the mountain. His crew played several games with him. Jin also took several breaks, had drinks, and interacted with his fans. While walking, Jin said, “I was wrong. I was so excited that I wrongly thought I could do everything. I was so arrogant. We should change our theme from ‘I can do anything’ to ‘Should we at least do something?'”
Jin described the growth as difficult
As the climb got steeper, Jin added, “It’s taken away my confidence. I can’t do everything anymore. I can’t do everything anymore…It’s tough. What Muhammad Ali once said was true, ‘Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.'” The quote was originally attributed to Mike Tyson.
I was happy after the increase
After reaching the top, Jin said, “Wow, so beautiful. This looks like a scene from a drama. It’s amazing. What a beautiful view. Wow, I did it. I can’t believe I’m looking at Bangnokdam five days after the holiday.” He posed and asked his team to take photos.
Jin’s climb took more than 7 hours
Jin then began to descend. As he reached the starting point, he told the camera, “This is crazy. This is crazy. This is totally lucky, Seokjin. I didn’t get hurt. I was discharged safe and sound and I finished the climb. This is totally lucky Jin.” It took more than seven hours to get to the top of the mountain and back. Jin was discharged from the military in June this year.
