With this film, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is making his debut in Telugu cinema and fits perfectly in his role. Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt carry this film on their shoulders, making it worth watching. In the lead role, Ram is energetic and agile, while his action sequences and dance moves are excellent.
Let’s begin with the story. Big Bull (Sanjay Dutt) runs an international drug cartel from Argentina and plans to disrupt peace in India by inciting a civil war so that he can get a market for weapons and drugs. He thinks India is the safest place on earth for all kinds of crimes and will eliminate anyone who hampers his plans, but unexpectedly, he is diagnosed with glioma (brain tumour). With a desire to see his mission accomplished, he wants to live long and can go to any extent to achieve this goal. His assistant Bentley (Bani J) finds a solution along with Dr. Thomas (Makrand Deshpande) who is experimenting with ‘memory transfer’ from one human to another. Needless to say, Bentley chooses iSmart Shankar for this mission and completes it.

The protagonist Shankar is a goon from Hyderabad’s Charminar area, who is orphaned at a young age by Big Bull, who killed Shankar’s mother in a fit of rage. Shankar has since vowed to take revenge and is waiting for the right opportunity.
Does Shankar lose his memory of the past, does Big Bull use him to destroy the country, or does the hero go against Big Bull forms the rest of the story. Shankar is joined by his girlfriend Jannath (Kavya Thapar), who comes to Hyderabad from Delhi on a mission. Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, there is never a boring moment in this film, but they could have avoided a cheap and cheesy comedy track featuring a veteran actor like Ali. Veteran actor Sayaji Shinde plays the RAW chief who is out to capture Big Bull alive, but one wonders why his powerful role borders on comedy.
Composer Mani Sharma’s BGM is a strong point of the film, and the soundtrack too has a couple of foot-tapping songs. Double iSmart It is a commercial package, a blend of mass appeal, high intensity action, maternal emotion and solid entertainment. Released in multiple languages, this pan-India film is bound to attract people.
