Crunchyroll has announced an exciting new partnership with Spotify, which aims to offer anime fans and music lovers a unique and immersive experience through a dedicated anime shelf on Spotify’s global anime hub. The collaboration comes at a time when anime music is experiencing a massive surge in popularity, with global streams on Spotify increasing by an impressive 395% since 2021.
As part of this partnership, Crunchyroll is offering a series of specially curated playlists designed to improve the anime experience for fans. These “Curated by Crunchyroll” playlists will be regularly updated with fresh content, giving listeners a diverse range of music that captures the essence of various anime themes and characters.

In addition to these playlists, the Crunchyroll shelf will also include hit podcasts Crunchyroll Presents: Anime EffectWhich includes interviews with high profile guests such as David Dastmalchian, rapper Denzel Curry and J-pop sensation Lisa.
