Mumbai: In an exciting development for cinema lovers, veteran actor Anupam Kher has officially announced that Iain Glen, famous for his role in ‘Game of Thrones’, will star in his upcoming film ‘Tanvi The Great’.
The announcement has been enthusiastically welcomed by both actors, marking a remarkable collaboration in the film industry.
Anupam Kher shared the news on social media by posting a video in which he is seen talking about the collaboration and sharing his excitement.
“Ladies and gentlemen! Since our picture from the sets of #TanviTheGreat went viral yesterday, #IanGlen and I decided to let the world know about our collaboration for the film,” Kher wrote in his post.
He expressed his admiration for Glenn, saying, “Personally, I am very pleased and proud to have Ian on board as a director. I have been a fan of his talents on stage and screen, and of course Game of Thrones!”
In response, Iain Glen praised Kher and expressed his happiness at being a part of the project. Glen said, “Anupam is a very special person. It is impossible to spend time with him without it enriching your view of the world.”
She also expressed her excitement about her debut in Indian cinema and said, “I am so happy to be a part of her film #TanviTheGreat. And this is my first visit to India. A beautiful country with beautiful people.”
The collaboration between Kher and Glenn is not entirely new, as the two actors have previously worked together in the BBC drama ‘Mrs Wilson’.

‘Tanvi The Great’ will have music composed by MM Keeravani, an Oscar-winning composer best known for his work in ‘RRR’.
Additionally, the sound design of the film will be done by Resul Pookutty, who is an Academy Award winner for his work in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
The project is being directed and produced by Anupam Kher Studio.
