Donald Trump took aim at Taylor Swift for supporting Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race during a “Fox & Friends” interview. Swift, who formally endorsed Harris shortly after their first debate, praised the vice president’s leadership and commitment to key issues like LGBTQ+ rights and women’s health.

However, Trump responded negatively, saying, “I actually like Mrs. Mahomes better. If you want to know the truth. She’s a huge Trump fan. I was not a fan of Taylor Swift.” He referred to Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as a contrast to Swift. Trump said Swift “always supports the Democrats” and predicted she “may have to pay a price for it in the market.”
The former president’s comments highlight a potential cultural clash, as Swift has become more politically outspoken while Brittany Mahomes, a known Trump supporter, has maintained a public friendship with Swift. The two women were photographed together at the US Open earlier this month, sparking controversy online.
Swift endorsed Harris, emphasizing her belief in the vice president’s calm leadership, calling it a departure from the “chaos” associated with Trump’s tenure. Swift’s statement concluded with a call for unity and progress under Harris’ leadership.
