Kalenna Harper has been keeping her distance from the case ever since she was named in Dawn Richards’ lawsuit against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. The former Diddy-Dirty Money member has completely denied seeing Diddy abuse his girlfriend Cassie Ventura over the past 10 years. Harper’s statement was released on Friday, in which she forbade any onlookers from “any behavior that could be construed as abusive or unlawful” during her time working with the Bad Boy Records founder.

Singer refuses to be a witness in Richards vs. Diddy lawsuit
According to TMZ, the statement said, “While I fully respect Dawn’s right to recount her experiences, I want to emphasize that her experience reflects her personal perspective and should not be construed as a universal truth that applies to all concerned.” Harper further said in his statement, “Many of the allegations and events described in this lawsuit do not represent my experiences, and some do not match my own reality.”
Earlier this week, Richards filed a lawsuit against Diddy, in which she accused Diddy of sexual abuse and inhumane treatment. She also claimed that several celebrities were witnesses to the American rapper physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend Ventura. The court documents mention an incident in which Harper and Richards urged Ventura to leave Diddy. When she received this information, she threatened everyone and said, “You all bastards don’t get into my relationship. Just make money and keep quiet” and “You bitches wanna die today?” as reported by Page Six.
The former Danity Kane member also claimed that she once saw Diddy throw a pan of eggs at the Long Way to Go singer and yell, “I’m asking you for my stuff; I can’t stand you, you never do it right!” Furthermore, she once saw the hip-hop mogul punch his girlfriend in the face and strangle her with his bare hands in his L.A. mansion.
Richards also accused him of making sexual advances on her. “Mr. Combs would frequently slap Ms. Richard’s bare buttocks and frequently comment on her body, saying that although she was ‘very skinny,’ she had an ‘ass,'” the lawsuit states.

Diddy’s lawyers respond to the lawsuit
Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolfe told the media outlet that her client is “shocked and disappointed.” In response to the lawsuit, part of the statement reads, “In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now made a series of false claims in hopes of getting money — conveniently timed to coincide with his album release and press tour.”
Richards adds to the growing legal challenges facing disgraced media mogul Diddy, whose troubles began last November with a lawsuit from Ventura accusing him of rape and physical abuse. Despite a quick settlement, video evidence of one alleged incident is set to become public in May 2024. Diddy is currently embroiled in lawsuits from eight other individuals accusing him of sexual abuse and is being investigated by Homeland Security.
