Singer-songwriter Charlie Puth is officially married to his fiancée Brooke Sansone just a year after their engagement. The couple exchanged wedding vows at Puth’s family estate in Montecito, California on September 7, reports Page Six.
In an emotional Instagram post announcing the news, Puth expressed his deep affection for his new bride.
“Brooke I love you…always have, with you I’m at my best,” Puth wrote.
He added, “I promise to love you every day of this life, and even more as we move on to our next. Brooke Ashley Sansone, and now you will be Brooke Ashley Puth. Thank you for making me the happiest person in the world. It’s always been you.”
According to Page Six, the ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ singer, 32, shared a series of intimate photos from the ceremony, in which he wore a black Bode suit with white lace, while Sanson stunned in a strapless white gown designed by Danielle Frankel.
The ceremony took place in front of an olive tree, a location chosen because of its special significance to Sansone.
In an interview, Sansone revealed the couple’s vision for their wedding, according to Page Six. “I wanted our wedding to blend tradition and modernity in an unconventional way,” she explained, “I wanted every detail to be spontaneous and yet perfectly, thoughtfully planned.”
Sansone walked down the aisle to the tunes of a choir performing Aerosmith’s song “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” and the ceremony was officiated by Puth’s best friend.
Reflecting on that moment, Sansone described an intense connection with Puth.
“When I was standing there, I had never felt so connected to Charlie — it was like time stopped,” she said, according to Page Six.
Both the bride and groom included the line, “It’s always been you,” in their vows.
The couple’s romantic history dates back to their shared upbringing in New Jersey.
According to Page Six, Sansone explained, “Our fathers attended elementary school together and we both grew up in New Jersey. There was always a spark and chemistry between us, but the timing never worked out — until it did. It feels like an invisible thread was always with us, showing us that timing is everything.”
Following the wedding, Puth was spotted wearing a gold band, leading to speculation that the newlyweds were enjoying their honeymoon in Lake Como, Italy.
The couple’s engagement was announced on September 5, 2023, with Puth sharing the news on Instagram along with photos of Sansone’s pear-cut engagement ring.
“I am the happiest, best version of myself and it’s all because of you @Brookie,” Puth wrote.
