Coldplay officially announces two shows in Mumbai in January 2025; ticket sales to begin on September 22

The band’s official Instagram page confirmed the Mumbai dates through a post:

According to the band’s website, the general sale for Mumbai will take place on Sunday, September 22 at 12 noon local time.

On Wednesday, BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiential division of BookMyShow, shared the update with a short teaser on its official Instagram handle.

The post shows a motion image announcing Coldplay’s performance in Mumbai. Coldplay will perform as part of the Music of the Spheres World Tour in 2025. More details about the concert will be shared soon.

Meanwhile, fans are expressing their excitement to attend Coldplay’s concert in Mumbai next year.

One social media user commented, “Best news… can’t wait to attend this event.”

Another wrote, “Finally, the band is coming back. Wow.”

Coldplay previously performed in India as part of the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai in 2016. Formed in 1997, the band consists of vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer and percussionist Will Champion.

‘A Sky Full of Stars’, ‘Don’t Panic’, ‘Viva la Vida’ and ‘In My Place’ are some of the band’s biggest hits.
