Megyn Kelly criticizes Justin Bieber and his friends for silence over Diddy’s arrest: ‘If he was the victim, God forbid…’

Megyn Kelly is accusing Justin Bieber, Usher, Ashton Kutcher and other celebrities of being close to disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs but keeping quiet after his arrest. Combs was taken into custody Monday on multiple felony charges including racketeering and sex trafficking.

Megyn Kelly has criticised celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Usher for remaining silent over Sean Combs’ arrest on serious charges. She has urged them to speak out, revealing their close relationship with Combs.

In a recent episode of her podcast, Kelly questioned why Combs’ close friends had not gone public with the allegations. She specifically mentioned Bieber, pointing to his close relationship with Combs at a young age, and suggested he should speak out even though he was the victim of the alleged crimes.

Megyn Kelly calls on Diddy’s ‘friends’ to speak out

Since November last year, bombshell revelations of Diddy’s tangled secrets have resulted in multiple lawsuits and even FBI raids on his homes in Los Angeles and Miami. This week, the Bad Boy Records producer was finally arrested and is currently being held in a Brooklyn jail.

The music legend has maintained close friendships with many top musicians and pop stars, including Justin Bieber, who first connected with Diddy at age 15, and Usher, who met him when he was 13 or 14 and admitted that Diddy introduced him to “a whole different kind of thing — especially sex.”

“Justin Bieber… they’re not naming him in this case, but Justin was very young when he came into Diddy’s circle,” Megyn Kelly recalled. “There’s no doubt about it, he had a lot of contact with this guy, and I think he should have something to say.”

Several old videos have resurfaced, particularly those showing interactions between Bieber and Diddy, leading to speculation among fans that Bieber could be one of Diddy’s victims. Many believe this could explain Bieber’s apparent distance from the rapper in recent years.

Megyn encouraged Bieber to speak out even though ‘he was suffering’

Kelly acknowledged that Bieber would be in a tough spot if he was a victim of Diddy’s troubling past. “It’s very hard to come forward and say this happened to you, but if he was a victim, God forbid, I would encourage him to speak up,” she said. “You need someone strong like that to break the dam.”

The talk show host suggests that it would show leadership if high-profile people like Usher, Justin Bieber or Ashton Kutcher were to speak out about what they know about Sean Combs and his whereabouts. “If you actually have someone like Usher, someone like Bieber or someone like Ashton Kutcher — I don’t think he was a victim of abuse, but he was a good friend of Diddy’s for a long time — come out and say everything he knows, it would show leadership.”

“And that will allow others on this list to have that security and know that they’re not the only ones who have to worry about retaliation,” he added.

Justin Bieber ‘upset’ after Diddy’s arrest

Fans claim Bieber started distancing himself from Diddy at a young age, but the pop star did collaborate with Combs on the track “Moment” from his 2023 album The Love Album: Off the Grid. However, he hasn’t been seen in public with Diddy since. Now, a source tells the Daily Mail, “Bieber is very upset by Diddy’s news and isn’t ready to process it or discuss it, so he has cut off their contact.” They added, “Justin hasn’t been responding since the house raid. He’s not supposed to.”

The insider also revealed that Bieber “regrets” working with Diddy, adding that he would have never collaborated with the disgraced tycoon if he had known about the allegations at the time.

On the other hand, Sean Combs is awaiting his trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He was recently placed on suicide watch as a “supervisory precaution for inmates at risk of self-harm, which requires constant monitoring” after his bail plea was rejected twice. He is said to be worried about his seven children.
