In the wake of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest in New York on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, rumors are spreading about Kim Porter’s death and her relationship with the music mogul. Kim Porter’s father has now responded to the speculation, saying he hopes “the truth will come out.”
There was a time when Kim’s parents saw Diddy, known to them as Shawn, as their daughter’s “soulmate.”
Following Kim’s death in November 2018, the rapper attended her father’s funeral in Columbus, Georgia, holding his hand through the difficult times.
Declining to comment on the charges filed against Diddy, Jake Porter, 78, told the Daily Mail he was shocked to learn about what happened to Cassie Ventura. He said he was “disgusted” after seeing the viral hotel video of him and Diddy.
Jake further stated that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but added that “the truth will come out.”
Asked whether he believed any fresh information about his daughter’s death added to the truth in the face of growing calls for the investigation to be reopened, Porter called the earlier investigation “a load of shit.”
However, the grieving father did not demand further investigation into Kim’s death at the age of 47, which was ruled natural and the result of lobar pneumonia.

Another member of Kim Porter’s family thinks otherwise
Meanwhile, another family member, who spoke to the outlet on condition of anonymity, said he would have demanded an investigation had Kim “been my daughter”.
The man claimed he visited Kim in California when she was living with Diddy and noticed there was a “change” in her and “something wasn’t right.”
“Now I feel in my soul that he is guilty, but justice must take its course.”
Didi’s children issued a statement
On Tuesday night, Diddy’s three children with Kim shared a joint statement on Instagram.
They said they felt compelled to speak out because they have seen “so many sad and false rumors being spread about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as the tragic passing of our mother.” That we feel the need to speak.” ,
Recalling the pain of his demise, he said he was “broken down” after the tragic incident, but added that the cause of his death “has been long established” and “there was no foul play.”
Kim’s children urged everyone to respect their mother and “hold her legacy in high regard so that she may rest in peace.”
“We love you and miss you mom,” he said at the end of his Instagram statement.
