Peaky Blinders is a Birmingham gangster drama produced by Steven Knight. The film is based on the six-season series starring Murphy, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory, Tom Hardy and Joe Cole. So far, Saltburn’s Barry Keoghan and Dune’s Rebecca Ferguson have been confirmed for the film.
“By order of Peaky Blinders,” according to the announcement, “Tommy Shelby is back. Cillian Murphy and Steven Knight reunite on set as production on the upcoming Netflix film officially begins.” “This is for the fans,” Murphy said in a statement.

Peaky Blinders, the show concluding with season six in 2022, shortly before the Irishman starred in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which earned him an Academy Award.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Murphy’s latest project Small Things Like These, which explores the horrors of abusive workplaces for unwed mothers in the Church of Ireland, is set to be released on November 1 in the UK and November 8 in the US.
