Mark Ruffalo recently praised Javier Bardem’s speech on the Israel-Hamas war.

mark ruffalo shout out to javier bardem

Mark tweeted Javier’s video on the Israel-Hamas war, captioning his post, “Thank you Javier Bardem for your decency, your courage and love for all human beings. You are a ray of light, amigo. Xavier shared his long speech on his Instagram handle. “Obviously, talking about this takes me straight to Gaza,” the actor said in the video. What is happening in Gaza is completely unacceptable, it is terrible, it is inhumane. I believe that the Israeli government is the most radical government in the history of Israel, that it is committing crimes against humanity, that it is committing crimes against international law, which has been investigated by the International Criminal Court, obviously. The brutal, appalling and condemnably brutal attacks by Hamas on October 7 cannot justify the enormous punishment the Palestinian population is facing. I think the current Israeli government needs to change the leeway it has in its actions in Gaza and the West Bank.

Javier Bardem condemns human rights violations

He added, “I believe that the United States, Germany, Britain need to reconsider their behavior and their logic of unconditional support especially when we see crimes against human rights, against international law Crimes such as, for example, restrictions on food, water, electricity, the use of drugs are, as UNICEF says, a war against children and the trauma they are creating for generations. “We cannot remain indifferent #Gaza,” he captioned his post.
