Angelina Jolie is preparing to dismiss the lawsuit accusing her ex-husband Brad Pitt of physical and verbal abuse. Pitt always maintained his innocence
The lawsuit claimed that during the flight, Pitt choked one of his children and struck another in the face. She also alleged that he grabbed her head, “shaked her”, and poured wine and beer on her and after a nasty legal battle, they parted ways forever.
However, Pitt strongly denied any physical abuse towards his children. While acknowledging his struggle with alcohol at that time, he has consistently rejected claims of violence. In 2021, Pitt was granted 50/50 custody of their minor children by a judge, which Jolie contested. Of their six children, only the twins, Knox and Vivienne, now 16, are minors. Jolie then filed a lawsuit against the FBI and the Department of Justice in an attempt to obtain “evidence of the harm that the DOJ and FBI have included in the information concealed by the DOJ.”
However, by the end of September, Jolie had decided to drop the lawsuit, and both parties agreed to cover their “legal fees and costs”.
