NewJeans’ album left out of HYBE’s Q4 2024 plans, disappointed fans say ‘…sabotage’

HYBE’s Q4 2024 plans do not include NewJeans’ next album

The Q4 2024 plan disappointed fans as it omitted the schedule of the Korean girl group’s new album. There have been hints about the release of an upcoming album throughout the year. Min Hee Jin previously indicated that the release of the new album would be scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.

As AllKpop reports, the group also hinted at the release during their Tokyo Done fan meeting in March, where they said they were preparing for a new album for Q4 2024. However, it was removed from the final schedule released to the public.

Min Hee Jin mentioned in an interview that the NewJeans album was being put on hold and could not be released as previously planned. He cited his removal from the post of CEO from ADOR as the reason for the delay. Now it seems that the release of his new album has been canceled for this year.

Fans are angry over HYBE’s Q4 2024 plans

Newzines’ fans criticized HYBE for excluding Newzines’ album from this year’s fourth quarter schedule. One user on X wrote, “Definitely hyperbolic sabotage! I hope Newgins leaves that organization.” Another user wrote, “HYBE and SM are really best friends. We really need to massively boycott all these companies.” A third user wrote, “Evil Hybe made Newzines 2.0 and they already deleted the original Newzines, this is disgusting behavior.”

Another user wrote, “The competition between SM and HYBE to be the worst KPOP company is crazy,” while another user wrote, “Tired of that drama. Hope it ends and the girls are free.”
