I would never say never.” He further added, ‘We set out specifically to bring Venom into a film format and that’s what we’ve done. ‘The Last Dance’ is the final part of that trilogy and we’re really excited about it,” as reported by Variety.

There’s a chance for a long-running future in a Spider-Man and Venom crossover.
There may be more symbiote-centric movies in the future as there is a brief look at Knull in the trailer. Knull is the evil symbiote creator who recently appeared in Marvel Comics. In the Venom trailer, he was shown sitting on a black throne, with fibrous, long white hair, similar to how he appears in the comics.
“This is just the introduction to Knull,” Kelly Marcel said during Comic Con. He’s a huge, huge character so you can never become one with him. This is a little taste of Nul. We have to meet him. Who knows what will happen to him in the future.”
However, he also confirmed that “Eddie and Venom’s story ends here. But as you know, there are a lot of symbiote stories in canon. There are a lot of places to go, and maybe even some Easter eggs in here that can start that journey.”
