Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s sister-in-law Shrima Rai’s name has been involved in Abhishek-Aishwarya’s separation rumors as she has responded to trolls with her new post. After being trolled by the internet for sharing pictures of flowers sent by Shweta Bachchan, Srima Rai on Thursday shared a post clarifying the “facts” (her word). In her new post, Srima also addressed the issue of using “famous” connections to flourish in one’s career. The blogger-content creator wrote, “Fact. My birthday was November 21st and flowers were sent as usual. I shouted thank you to everyone. Before becoming a blogger/content creator I was a banker in wealth management for many years. I I have also been Gladrags Mrs. India Globe 2007. After 2017, I changed to blogging, I never tried to open any business under anyone’s name.
She added, “I’m making things clear because those are the facts. I’ve built an independent career as a content creator on my own for years and as a woman I don’t think anyone should accept that fact.” It doesn’t feel good to try to break it. As a mother, it’s extremely important for me to have the facts straight when my name is involved.”
For context, Shrima shared a picture of a bouquet on her Instagram stories while thanking Shweta Bachchan and her husband Nikhil Nanda. The internet was not impressed with this post and she was widely targeted for sharing such posts amid Abhishek-Aishwarya’s separation rumours. Recently, the internet discovered an old post of Shrima Rai. The picture shared on Instagram features Srima Rai, her husband Aditya Rai, their children and Aditya’s mother Brinda Rai. Sharing a family message, Shrima said in her post that her wedding anniversary and her mother-in-law’s birthday fall on the same day. The caption reads, “Did you know that my mother-in-law’s birthday and my anniversary are on the same day? She asked us when we were choosing the dates if it was okay and in the spirit of celebrating family time I said yes. So we We keep postponing the day between our anniversaries and then his birthday.” The comment section on the internet was flooded with questions as to why Shrima does not share any pictures with Aaradhya and Aishwarya on her Instagram.
