Mumbai: Amidst the ongoing feud with stepdaughter Esha Verma, famous television actress Rupali Ganguly has jetted off to Goa for a family holiday with husband Ashwin Verma and their son Rudransh.
Ashwin shared several pictures of the trio sitting in the flight on his Instagram handle. She captioned the pictures: “Family time #familia #rupaliganguly #rudranshvarma #ashwinvarma #goa #vacation.”
Rupali took to her stories section, where she shared the three photos again. In the first picture, she is seen sitting with her husband and son and has captioned it #familia.
She then shared a glimpse of the husband-wife pair sitting behind them and captioned it: ‘They weren’t allowed to sit in the emergency row.’
In the last picture, the actress is seen wearing glasses and she wrote along with the picture, “Mere do do chashme”.
Amid the ongoing legal dispute with stepdaughter Esha Verma, Rupali recently re-shared a note which said, “You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.”
The actress reshared Girly_Thoughts’ post on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Learn to be okay with people not knowing your side of the story. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone.”
The Anupama actress also added Blackpink’s Lisa’s popular track “Money”.
His post comes after Esha criticized the Rs 50 crore defamation notice filed against the actress, saying it was “disturbing, cruel and reveals her true character”.
In her statement, Isha wrote, “Hello everyone, I’m Isha Verma, and earlier this month, I made the difficult decision to share my personal story about my father and my experiences growing up. “This decision attracted widespread attention on social media and from the public.”
“Speaking was the hardest thing I have ever done, but it also became a turning point in my life. This brought clarity, peace and freedom from years of silence. I was mindful of how this would impact not only me but also my friends and loved ones and I handled it with the utmost care.
She added, “For 24 years I felt trapped in a reality from which I could not escape. Sharing my experiences was my way of finding freedom and justice. My intention was never to cause harm but to shed light on the experiences that shaped me. In doing so, I hoped to give a voice to others who may be facing similar struggles, especially when it comes to family dynamics. As an American citizen, I have maintained and exercised my right to speak honestly.”
Esha also criticized her father Ashwin and Rupali, saying, “I want to tell an important thing: a child should never be punished for speaking the truth. Despite being a young adult, I am still my father’s child.
“His response to my statement was disturbing and cruel, and it demonstrates his true character. I was not just a casual person speaking, but someone who was directly affected as a member of his family.”
