What did Kate say about AI?
“I’m less worried about my job prospects than I am about the impact it (AI) is going to have on the average person, on old-age pensioners, on people who are already trying and ) to have three jobs. That’s my concern, that’s a huge problem for us as a species,” Blanchett told the BBC.
The 55-year-old actor, known for films like ‘Ocean’s 8’, ‘Blue Jasmine’, ‘The Aviator’ and ‘Elizabeth’ franchise, said the discussion about AI did not become mainstream until the writers’ strike. Didn’t bring it forward. Public discussion.
‘You can take anyone’s place’
“So, I think it’s very real, you can completely transform anyone. Forget whether they’re an actor or not, if you recorded yourself for three or four seconds repeating your voice. May go.
“I’m looking at these robots and driverless cars and I don’t really know what it’s bringing to anyone. Sometimes, it’s just experimentation for its own sake, which is creativity when you look at it in a way. But then it’s also incredibly destructive, which is, of course, the other side of creativity,” she said.
Kate was last seen in the Apple TV+ series Disclaimer, directed by Alfonso Cuaron. The series first premiered at the Venice Film Festival. The show also stars Kevin Kline, Sacha Baron Cohen, Lesley Manville, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Louis Partridge.
