Now, this moment has caused dissatisfaction from singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who originally lent his voice for the girl whoThe star’s son, singer Jai Bhattacharya, also expressed his disappointment at his father not being given due credit. He pointed out that none of the media coverage mentioned his father’s name when reporting on the mashup. Abhijeet Bhattacharya also shared some statements on his Instagram Stories to express his dissatisfaction.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya was the first to repost a note which was originally shared by Jai Bhattacharya. It read, “The problem is that no one talks about it. What happened the girl who -Abhijeet? Unfortunately, we live in a country where no news outlet or Instagram page has mentioned the voice and artist of this song. Why is it always about actors in this country? I am sure when Dua Lipa heard this song she would have heard it, not seen it and would have appreciated the man who sang this song and yes it is not Shahrukh. It is Abhijeet Bhattacharya and written by Anu Malik.”
The note further said, “I’m sorry but the name of this song is that the girl who stands out – Abhijeet, search wherever. But somehow the media in this country does not allow any singer to get his due and then people ask me why don’t you try singing for Bollywood. This is not about Shahrukh Khan. I am his biggest fan ever. It’s about our audience and media not supporting our country’s singers the way they do in the West.”

This is not the first time that Abhijeet Bhattacharya has expressed his grievances over not getting proper credit for his songs in Shah Rukh Khan’s films.
